Itinerary

DAY 1 USA/Cairo
Evening departure from Washington Dulles Airport.

DAY 2 Cairo, Egypt
Evening arrival to Cairo Int’l Airport. Transfer to Hotel.

DAY 3 Cairo
Sightseeing includes visits to the world famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, historical churches, mosques and synagogue, and Saladin citadel in old Cairo. Then, visit Khan El Khalili, the greatest bazaar and gold market in the Middle East

DAY 4 Cairo
Visit Memphis, the Step Pyramid of Sakkara, the great Pyramids of Giza (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), the Sphinx, and the Sun Ships museum.

DAY 5 Cairo/ Luxor
Morning flight to Luxor amd transfer to a luxury cruise ship. Afternoon visits to the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Overnight on board.

DAY 6 Luxor/ Esna
Visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens where most of the famous pharaohs' tombs with their treasures were discovered (and perhaps still to be discovered) such as King Tut, King Ramses II, and Queen Hatshepsut. Sail to Esna in the afternoon. Overnight on board.

DAY 7 Esna/ Edfu/ Kom-Ombo/Aswan
Visit the famous monuments and temples of Ancient Egyptians, as well as the Greek-Roman Temple along the banks of the Nile. Overnight on board.

DAY 8 Aswan
Visit the Aswan High Dam and the temple of Philae. Sail around Elephantine and Kitchner’s Islands, and the mausoleum of Agha Khan in a traditional Nile felucca.

DAY 9 Aswan/ Cairo
Flight to Cairo and transfer to hotel. Afternoon, free time.

DAY 10: Departure
Transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure flight to the U.S.
